Miss Arielle K Sterrett passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017. She was 18. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, GA. with Father Junot Nelvy officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:00 - 8:00 pm at Poole Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Arielle was born on September 17, 1999 in Plantation, FL. to Michelle and Guillermo Sterrett. She was a senior at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw where she was both an Honor and Magnet student. Arielle was a peer minister and involved in several clubs; Christeen, Lacrosse Warrior, Peer Mediation, Anti-Bully Committee, Tribal Connections, Shop with a Warrior, Athletic Student Council, Counselor at Camp Acworth, Rally for Childhood Cancer, and Hearts for Hooves. Along with enjoying music and playing the flute, Arielle had several passions which included Global Warming and Endangered Species. Some of her "favorites" include; Mac-n-cheese, the color pink, going to the movies, spending time with friends and family, vacationing to the beach and her favorite stuffed animal, "Liz" the Bunny. Arielle was many things to many people, but her loving parents would describe her as; Beautiful, great cook/baker, fashionista, compassionate, gracious, considerate, sweet, giving intelligent, private, caring, attentive, kind, generous, and much more, but above allperfect. Arielle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rogelio A Sterrett Jr. and Sandra Hunt; her Aunt, Devora Goldson; Uncle Rogelio A Sterrett Jr. Arielle is survived by her parents, Michelle Rojas-Sterrett and Guillermo Sterrett; Brother, Latique Sterrett; Grandparents, Judith V. Rojas and Michael Rojas; Aunts Rhasheda Rojas-Lawrence; Senobia Hughes; Oderia Sterrett; Mecca Sterrett; Alicia Sterrett; and Sonja Goldson. Uncles Michael C Rojas; Rogelio Sterrett; Exel Ayala; Sean Sterrett; Step-Great Grandmother, Muriel Whiteman; Niece, Payeton Sterrett; A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and several extended family members.
