Cheryl Hamrick was born May 22, 1970, in Cherry Point North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Sara and George Boreman of Lewiston, PA and Phillip Nace of Tower City, PA. Mrs. Hamrick was a devoted wife, sister, daughter, and mother.
She was a consistent volunteer in both Mill Creek Middle School and River Ridge High School. She was loved by all who knew her and is remembered to be selfless and supportive of everyone around her. Mrs. Hamrick worked full time, read consistently, and spent so much time taking care of others around her.
Cheryl graduated from Lewiston Area High School Class of 1989. She also studied Accounting at Central Penn Business School. Cheryl worked for The Atlanta Journal Constitution for 10 years.
Mrs. Hamrick was preceded in death by her mother and her husband, Patrick Hamrick.
Survivors include her daughter, Serena Semere, of Woodstock, GA; two sisters, Tina Nace and companion Jack Miller, McClure, PA and Carrie Marker and husband Robert of Titusville, FL; two nieces, Kendall Nace and Natalie Marker; two great nephews and a great niece.
