Darlene Hamby Olschewske

Mrs. Darlene Hamby Olschewske age 57 departed this life Monday August 24, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Darlene was born in Marietta to her parents, Joseph and Betty Pendley Hamby. Mrs. Olschewske enjoyed traveling, deer hunting and bird watching, Darlene loved life and people also she loved the beach, deep sea fishing, hiking the mountains of Alaska and the Northern lights. Darlene was a rural letter carrier for Woodstock for over 30 years, she will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving husband Kent Olschewske, children and their spouses, Blake Lee and Taylor Olschewske of Acworth and Joseph Robert and Savannah Olschewske of Taylorsville, parents; Joseph and Betty Pendley Hamby of Acworth, brother Doug and Rebecca Hamby of Acworth and a granddaughter Caroline Olschewske as well as nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A celebration of Darlene's life will be Monday August 31, 2020 at 11 am in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday August 30, 2020 from 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
