James "Stephen" Reid, age 49, of Acworth, passed away on January 31st, 2021. Stephen was a native of Laurens County. He was an auto body specialist for over 30 years. Survivors include his wife Norma of Acworth; two sons, Christopher and Nicolas; Grandparents, Edmond Haines, Sr. and Mary Haines of Warner Robins; parents Edmond and Janice Haines of Acworth; siblings, Michael Reid(Tammy)of Cochran, Eric Reid(Tara) of Acworth, and Amy Scott(Timothy) of Acworth; Nieces, Ashely(Michael), Emily, Anna, Mackinzie; Nephews, James, Matthew, William Davin, Dillion, and Justin; Great-nephew, Liam. Uncles and Aunts, Janice Soles(Mack), Ronnie Maddox(Marie), Danny Maddox(Bonita), Sherry Whitmire, and over 25 cousins.Stephen is proceeded in death by his father, Tony Reid; Grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Drew; Grandfather, James Maddox, Sr.; Uncle, James Maddox, Jr.; All of Laurens County.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021, at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock. Graveside services will be held at Lebanon Methodist Church in Lebanon. The Rev. Edmond Haines, Sr. will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 9th, 2020 at Poole Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Eric Reid, Gregory Haines, Sr., Justin Scott, Timothy Scott, Kobus Pretorius, and Michael Reid.
