Jerry Glawson

Mr. Jerry Albert Glawson, of Acworth, Georgia passed away after an extended illness at Canton Nursing Home. He was 79. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at Georgia National Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Baker officiating. Box 100 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 or donate online at www.stjude.org/donate Mr. Glawson was born April 27, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Andrew Jesse, Sr. and Florena Leah Major Glawson. Jerry served eight years in the U.S. Navy. He also retired Kendall-Futuro and was an active member of the community. Survivors inlcude his wife Jan Glawson, Acworth, GA; sons, Jerry Glawson, Jr. and Randy Glawson; grandsons, Jarred Glawson and Greg Glawson; great grandson Brandon Glawson; many nieces & nephews;
