John Stephen Dennis

Mr. John Stephen Dennis 78 of Woodstock departed this life Monday June 1, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Dennis was born February 25, 1942 in Sayre, Oklahoma to his parents Roy Francis and Stella Boettler Dennis. John was a great man who always did what was right no matter the inconvenience. He was honest, loyal, forgiving, and a very wise man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John is preceded in death by a son, Kevin Dennis, a brother and a sister; Mary Dennis and Bruce Dennis. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years Donna Faye DeBord Dennis, children Geoff (Demi) Dennis, Stephen (Sandi) Dennis; siblings Edgar, Winona, Joy, and Freda; grandchildren James "Jar", Patrick, Colson and Reese. Services to honor the life of Mr. John Stephen Dennis will be Saturday June 6, 2020 at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home with Brother Larry Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the service hour. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at LLS.org in memory of Mr. Dennis.
