Katelyn Elizabeth Fige

Miss Katelyn Elizabeth Fige, 18, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away early Sunday, August 22, 2021, after a 6-year battle with Pineoblastoma Cancer. A Celebration of Katelyns Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw with Father Benjamin Day officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer at www.rallyfoundation.org Miss Katelyn attended Woodstock Elementary, Woodstock Middle, and Woodstock High School. Katelyn also loved going to Chick-fil-A. Katelyn and her father David Fige fought for the Childhood Cancer Bill making September 1st every year shall be Childhood Cancer Awareness Day in Georgia. Miss Katelyn was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Al Fige and Shirley Alfred. Survivors include her parents, David and Elizabeth Fige, Woodstock, GA; three sisters, Jessica Fige Burnside, Charleston, SC., Kayla Fagan, and Dixie Jordan, both of Daytona Beach, Florida; three brothers, Drew, and Joshua Fige, both of Sarasota, FL, and Corbin Fige, Birmingham, AL; maternal grandparents, Lillabet Hall, Woodstock, GA, and Duane Everitt (Mary) New Berlin, NY; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins.
