Miss. Kimberly Sharon Barnes of Marietta, Georgia passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 23, 2017 after a brief illness. She was 45. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Mills officiating. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Poole Funeral Home. The family wishes for you to join them immediately following the service for a reception at Hillside United Methodist Church 4474 Towne Lake Parkway Woodstock, GA 30189. The family ask that donations be made to the Cherokee County Humane Society, 5900 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA 30189. Kim was born April 27, 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia to Charles Melvin and Sara Ellen Berry Barnes. Kim was employed in the mortgage industry working with Angel Oak Home Loans in Marietta, GA.
