Lisa Morales

Mrs. Lisa Marie Morales, of Canton, Georgia passed away after an extended illness. She was 49. A Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta with Father Fred Wendel officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Service at Woodstock. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to The American Cancer Society with a note in memory of Lisa Morales, Bascom Elementary 1335 Wingate Parkway Woodstock, GA.30189. Mrs. Morales was born October 30, 1968 in Milwaukee, WI to Larry Leonard Price and Carolyn Dzendzera. Lisa graduated with her Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and her Master's from West Georgia University. Lisa was employed with the Cherokee County Board of Education as a Guidance Counselor at Bascomb Elementary School for 14 years. Anyone who knew Lisa knew that she was a huge Georgia Bulldogs and Green Bay Packers Fan and she would be cheering "Go DAWGS" and "Go Pack Go"! Lisa is survived by her husband, Robert Morales, Canton, GA; son, Austin White, Canton, GA; step-son, Schuyler Morales, Canton, GA; her father, Larry Price (Mickey), Rusk, TX; her mother, Carolyn Ginger, Woodstock, GA; one sister, Tracie Piccinni (Guido), Alpharetta, GA; father-in-law, Robert Morales (Valerie), Barnegat, NJ; mother-in-law, Janet Morales, Tinton Falls, NJ; sister-in-law, Lea Delaney (Daniel) Brick Township, NJ; brother-in-law, Christopher Morales (Leilena), Glendale, AZ, and several nephews and nieces.
