Melissa Nicole Jurkiewicz

Melissa Nicole Jurkiewicz of Canton, Georgia, entered the kingdom of heaven on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Melissa was a devoted mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ. Melissa attended North Cobb High School and graduated from Kennesaw State University majoring in Exercise and Health Science. She was committed to helping others live a healthier, happier life. Melissa's laugh was contagious, and she lit up a room with her smile and kind heart. She was a blessing coming into this world, and she was a blessing to others even in her last days of life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Miss Jurkiewicz is survived by her child, Emalynne Jurkiewicz; parents, John and Michele Jurkiewicz; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica (Chase) Anderson and nephew, Caleb; her maternal grandparents, Dean and Denise LaLonde; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Jurkiewicz; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Joseph Jurkiewicz, and cousin, Mariah.
