Melvin Eugene White

Mr. Melvin Eugene White, of Jasper, Georgia formerly of Woodstock, GA. passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 after an extended illness.� He was 71. � Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on August 9, 2019 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Bowling officiating.� Visitation will be held from 1-8 pm Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Poole Funeral Home.� Mr. White was born May 17, 1948 in Jackson, MS to the late James L. and Nora Bell Blade White.� Mr. White spent 50 years working in the manufacturing industry of which the last twenty was with A&E Conveyors in Holly Springs, GA before retiring in January 2018.� His hobbies included working on cars and teaching that trade to his children, spending time with grandchildren and occasional Diet Coke or two.� Mr. White was the type of Man that would help anyone he could and will be greatly missed by all that have known him.� Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife Patricia "Pat" White, in October 2017; his parents; three brothers, James Otis White, Harvey Lynwood White and Cecil Lewis White; one sister, Gladys Lorraine White; Survivors include his three sons, Charles White, Tommy White, and Larry White; grandchildren, Amanda White, Tyler White, Taylor White, Hunter White, CJ Stacey, Donnie White, Adison White, Caiden White, and Caileigh White; one great grandchild, Karli White; four brothers, Kenneth Doc White, Robert Neal White, Steven Ray White and Ollie White; one sister, Mary Inez White;� Online condolences may be made at www.poolefuneralhome.net
