Robert Loovis

Mr. Robert Edward Loovis, of Canton, Georgia passed away at his home following an extended illness. He was 70. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Wildwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Ric Cadle officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Burial will follow in Georgia National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 with Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Woodstock directing. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to www.pancan.org Mr. Loovis was born April 16, 2017 in Jamacia, New York to the late Karl Mac Tavish Loovis and Evangeline Cote Loovis. Robert was employed with The Ford Motor Company for over 30 years and retired as a Dealer Operation Manager. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Loovis, Canton, GA; two sons, Mark Loovis (Stephanie), Dallas, TX., and Matt Loovis, Marietta, GA; one sister, Claire Cabral, Gastonia, NC; Paul Loovis, Seattle, WA; sisters-in-law, June Rowland (Bob), Marietta, GA., Joyce Outman (Richard), Belding, MI, and Mary Weeks Loovis, Tacoma, WA; brother-in-law, Jim Koerner (Sherry), Phoenix, AZ; one granddaughter, Madison Loovis, Dallas, TX; several nieces and nephews;
