Master Sergeant Stacy Baasch, age 47 of Acworth Georgia, departed this life October 29th, 2020 at her residence. Stacy was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to her parents Herb and Gayle Ferrell. Survivors include her husband Christian; her children Meagan, Madison (Jake Neighbors spouse), Chelsea, and Candace; brothers Herb Ferrell, Jeff Ferrell (Sister-in-law Andrea Ferrell), Carl Ferrell; and three grandchildren Kayden, Avery, and Trace along with other family members to include Aunt Marie and Uncle Joe Williford. Stacy was proceeded in death by her Grandmother Francis Ferrell, Mother Gayle Ferrell, Uncle Ronnie Ferrell, Granddaughter Annalyse Doughty, Cousin Joe Ferrell, and the infamous Harley, her beloved cat. Stacy worked as a consulting professional after a 10-year stint with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. Prior to her civilian career, she proudly served her country honorably and faithfully beginning with the Army and ultimately retiring in the Air Force after 20 years. Stacy is known for putting others first and going out of her way to fulfill their needs; specifically, her selfless roles in volunteering for veterans and leadership improvement groups, while completing two Masters degrees and working on her Doctorate of Business Management. Services for the life of Master Sergeant Stacy Baasch will start with a viewing on Tuesday Night, November 3rd between the hours of 5-7 pm. Her celebration of life will take place on Wednesday at 10 am; both events take place at the Chapel of Poole Funeral Home of Woodstock. Inurnment services with procession will occur on Thursday (time TBD) from the funeral home to the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton and will be limited to family and close friends due to Covid-19. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to her favorite charity, the Disabled American Veteran (DAV).
