Alexander Michael Ober

September 28, 1994 — December 23, 2019

Alexander Michael Ober of Woodstock, GA was born on September 28, 1994, the son of Clint and Tracy Ober and brother to Lindsay, Natalie and Ryan Ober. He passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, December 23, 2019 at the age of 25. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great-grandparents. He is survived by his Grandparents Sherry and Alan Weisberg, Grandmother Gayle LaVallee, Grandfather Carroll I Ober III, multiple loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. He attended River Ridge High School and Joy House Academy and was employed at Walmart in Woodstock Georgia. Alex was a gift to his family and friends. He came to know His Savior and accepted Christ as his Lord at a young age and was later baptized in 2008. He was a profoundly loving, fully accepting human being. He was a friend to everyone and captivated those around him with his smile. He had a generous and giving, sweet spirit and looked out for the needs of others. He always offered a shoulder to cry on and made connecting with people a high priority. He had a love for animals, music and gaming and lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with friends and would never pass up a nerf gun challenge or attending a concert. He loved swimming in the ocean, spending time at Schoodic Lake (Maine), and traveling all over for family vacations. Alex touched us in ways we will never forget and taught us how to love well and unconditionally. We forever cherish the memories of him and rejoice that He is with his Lord and Savior in heaven. I Peter 5:10 "And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."
