Barbara Ellen White

Barbara P. White, Age 90, of Canton, GA, passed away December 20, 2024. She grew up in Vestal, NY. In 1956, after studying abroad at the University of Madrid she graduated from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY as Valedictorian. She was a passionate school teacher for many years. Later she became a successful real estate agent in Atlanta and earned the prestigious Phoenix Award in 1989.

Barbara loved people and spoke often of her memories of her real estate clients. She loved the Atlanta area and being part of its real estate growth. She was of the Christian faith. Barbara was exceptionally intelligent and always looked to learn more. She was an avid reader and was especially interested in current events.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Irene Platt.

Survived by her daughters, Jeni L. Seiler (Johnny) and Sherri L. Walker (Greg); grandchildren, Mandy Seiler Walker (Bryan), Kyle Adrian Walker and Jenna Walker Basich (Parker).

The highlight of her last few years were her great granddaughters, Ari Grace Walker, Briley Basich and Grace Annette Basich.
