Bradly David Magee, age 35, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on May 8, 2021 at Kennestone Hospital after his body succumbed to a genetic disorder.Brad was born on September 20, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His military family was stationed in several locations before laying down roots in Woodstock, Georgia in 1999. He graduated from Etowah High School in 2003 and completed a few years of college before finding his passion in the field of land surveying. He had a strong interest in identifying trees and shrubbery native to the Southeastern United States. Brad loved working outside, cooking and grilling meals for his family, and playing softball with his church league. He was a huge Braves fan and loved attending games. Brad also loved spending time with his precious dogs Lana, Baron, and Lucius.Bradly was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Lydia Magee Sr., and his paternal aunt, Natalie Weeks.Bradly is survived by his fianc�, Melanie Henderson of Woodstock; parents, Don and Jackie Magee of Woodstock; sisters, Laura Adams (Jeremy) and Beth Nugent (Joshua) of Canton; niece, Makenna Nugent of Canton; grandparents, Clyde and Audrey Mason of Woodstock; aunts, Kimberly Mason of Woodstock and Wendy Miranda (Paul) of Summerville, SC; uncles, Scott Mason (Isobel) of Woodstock and Marvin Weeks of Tampa, FL; cousins, Kristen Weeks, Lindsay Saul (Dan), Meaghan Miranda, Dylan Mason, and Owen Mason; and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins.The visitation will be held at Poole Funeral Home on Tuesday May 11, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at Poole Funeral Home on Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 11:00 am with the burial to follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. Honored to serve as Pall Bearers: Jose Herrera, Damian Merkison, Joshua Nugent, Jeremy Adams, Tim Palmer, and Cary Johnson Honorary pall bearers: Scott Mason, Dylan Mason, Owen Mason, Paul Miranda, and Marvin Weeks. While flowers are welcome, the family would also encourage donations to be made to the Georgia Transplant Foundation in Bradly' name. gatransplant.org
