Brenda Ashe

Ms. Brenda Ashe, 74, of Anniston, AL departed this life on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Brenda was born in Anniston to parents Grady and Betty Jo Dobbs Cardwell. Brenda spent the last 20 years of her career in Commercial Real Estate in Raleigh, NC. A faithful Christian, Brenda was a member of New Hope Ministries in Anniston. She loved interior design and decorating as well as traveling. She spent the last 4 years assisting her brother, Lee in caring for their Mother.  Brenda was preceded in death by her Father, Grady and Sister, Janice Dalrymple.

Survivors include her Mother, Betty Jo Cardwell, Brother, Lee Cardwell both of Anniston, Daughter, Heather O’Donnell of Atlanta and Son, Joshua Holmes (Peyten) of Raleigh, Grandchildren, Jay, Gannon and Riley O’Donnell of Atlanta and Zachary and Merrick Holmes and Keegan Welch of Raleigh.

A celebration of life for Brenda will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, with visitation at 11:00 a.m. and the service at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA.
