It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Franklin Davis, who departed this life on the 15th of February, 2026, in Canton, Georgia. Born on the 3rd of April, 1961, in Huntsville, Alabama, Carl was a man whose life was defined by unwavering dedication, profound love, and a deep spiritual connection that resonated through every aspect of his being.
Carl dedicated a significant part of his professional journey to the concrete wall and foundation industry, where he lent his expertise to notable companies such as Keystone Concrete and AA Landscape and Stone. His work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike, and his craftsmanship is reflected in the very foundations upon which many structures stand today.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Carl's heart was warmed by the joys of life’s simpler pleasures. An avid golfer, he found tranquility on the lush greens, embracing both the challenges and camaraderie inherent in the sport. Above all, being a grandfather brought him immense happiness; he cherished and nurtured the bonds with his grandchildren—Cheyenne, Trent, and Audrey—who were the apples of his eye and whose laughter filled his days with joy and purpose.
In addition to his affection for family, Carl nurtured a profound relationship with Jesus, which guided him through life’s myriad of experiences. His faith was a cornerstone that bolstered his spirit, providing strength during challenging times and inspiring others around him. Furthermore, his spirited nature was evidenced in his high school years, during which he wrestled, embodying tenacity and courage.
Carl is survived by his beloved family, including his son Chad Davis and daughter-in-law Nicole Davis, as well as his daughter Lauren McGill and son-in-law Jason McGill. He shared a special bond with his siblings Wanda Southerland and brother-n-law Larry Logan, Wayne Davis and sister-in-law Vicki Davis, along with her husband Dirk Council, and sister Cheryl Council. Each of them carries a piece of Carl's spirit, woven through the memories they shared.
A visitation to celebrate Carl’s life will be held on the 22nd of February, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 1970 Eagle Drive, Woodstock, GA. Following this, a funeral service will commence at 2:00 PM, culminating in a burial at Rolling Hill Memory Garden in Acworth, GA, starting at 3:15 PM, where he will rest surrounded by those who loved him dearly.
Carl Franklin Davis leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and indomitable spirit. He will be deeply missed yet fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
