Carol Ann Raymond

November 17, 1947 — April 18, 2023

Woodstock, Georgia

Carol Ann Haggerty Raymond, daughter of Raymond Joseph, Sr. and Doris Haggerty, met her Savior Jesus Christ on April 18th 2023, with her family by her side. She was a long time resident of St. Augustine, Florida and was currently residing in Woodstock, Georgia.

The first and best word to describe Carol is selfless. She was a woman of faith and loving servant who never thought twice when help was needed. She had a heart of gold and a flair of class. She loved RV travel and really loved shopping. Her life and last days were marked by courage and strength.

Carol worked in administration in the insurance, medical and financial fields, as well as volunteered with The Hope Center; but her true passion was her family.

Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Raymond, and her daughters, Shelley Baxley (Jerry) and Melissa Birkett (Eddie). Her remarkable legacy continues with five grandsons and families, two great grandsons and two great granddaughters. She is loved by her three sisters, four brothers and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Services are planned Friday, April 21st at 11:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Interment will be a private family ceremony at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers, Carol requested that donations be made to Capstone Hospice or St. Michael Church.
