Charles Davis

Mr. Charles E. Davis, of Woodstock, husband of over thirty years to Deborah Graves Davis, passed away Tuesday January 29, at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mt., at the age of 70. The family will receive friends Saturday February 2, 2019 at Poole Funeral Home from 10 AM to 11AM. Funeral services will be conducted in the Poole Funeral Home Chapel at 11 AM with Pastor David Cooper officiating. Burial will be private for family only. Mr. Davis was born May 25, 1948 in Cartersville, GA to the late Edward Ralph and Helen Shaw Davis. He was a pharmacist for the Wellstar Kennestone hospital system. Charles loved the mountains, the outdoors and fishing. He played the drums, banjo, and guitar, favoring the Martin brand of guitars. He loved playing trivia games and restoring old cars. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife Deborah, Charles is survived by his sons, Jason Bartley "Bart" Davis and his wife Rachel Ann, John Timothy Dover and his wife Amy Marie; grandchildren, Elijah "Eli" William Davis, Gracie Taylor Davis, John Ethan Dover, Mason Guy Dover, and Hannah Eve Dover.
