Crystal Mendez

Crystal Madeline Mendez, (Kiki) age 19, was born on March 25, 2003 in Marietta, Georgia to Sonia Flores Juarez and Virgilio Mendez - Hernandez. She passed away on Saturday August 13, 2022 in Marietta Ga. She attended Sprayberry High School and worked with her mother in house- keeping. She was survived by her 18 month old daughter Victoria Mendez. Crystal was the middle child and had one older brother David Mendez, an older sister Keila Mendez, and baby sister Grace Mendez, whom she all loved very much. Crystal was an incredibly loving mother, she loved her daughter more than anything in the world. The thing that she wanted the most was for her daughter to live a full happy life, to be kind and loving. She had an amazing sense of humor, she was a very funny girl. She was always doing something silly to make you laugh. Crystal saw the best in people and had a heart of gold, a big kind heart. She loved her siblings deeply and was always there to listen, and support them and was proud of each one of them. As a friend, she was loyal, trustworthy and had your back no matter what, if you had her as a friend you were lucky. She did not want anyone to feel alone. She loved to sing, and knew every song, enjoyed dancing, liked to draw and do her glam - make up.  As a young child she was fearless and was not intimidated by those bigger than her, everyone around her loved her and was taken by her. Crystal is loved by all her family, her parents are heartbroken but happy that she is now in the presence of God. Kiki’s as we all called her will never be forgotten she will forever live in our hearts and through her daughter. Crystal wanted nothing more than to be free and now she is as free as the birds in the sky.
