David Satchfield Carroll

June 14, 1956 — July 1, 2021

Mr. David Satchfield Carroll, 65, of Canton passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Carroll was born in Memphis, TN. He is the youngest of four children born to Carroll and Mary Sue Adams Carroll. He married the love of his life, Mary Jean Carroll on August 4, 1980. David worked at various places doing maintenance but most of his time was spent working at Martin' Landing in Roswell. In his younger days, he loved tinkering around. He was a Jack of all trades.He loved to watch westerns, shoot pool and his BB gun, have an ice-cold beer, and spend time with his family and friends. More than anything, he liked meeting new people and would talk to anyone. He always found happiness in new friendships and never met a stranger. David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Carroll; his parents, Carroll and Mary Sue Adams Carroll; his brother, Stephen Lewis Carroll.David is survived by his children; Kimberly Knock (Chris) of Canton and Kevin Carroll(Ansleigh) of Jasper; his 3 grandpups, B, Macho, and Bella; his sister Judy Edwards (Rocky) and brother Eddie Carroll. He is also survived by many beloved in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Service to honor David' life will be Wednesday July 7, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Poole Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends from 1pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Poole Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Woodstock is in charge of the arrangements.
