Doris Huntington

Doris Jean Martin Huntington was born on a farm outside of Chillicothe, Ohio. She was the daughter of Estelle Carroll and Arbra L. Martin but she was raised by her beloved Grandparents, Mom and Pop Carroll. She attended Unioto High School in Chillicothe, where she met the love of her life, Clifford Huntington. Clifford Huntington volunteered for the Army Air Corp upon graduating from high school and they got married on May 24, 1944. They had 25 years of wonderful military life stationed all over the States/Japan before retiring from Dobbins to spend the next 55 years in various careers and making life long Georgia friends. Doris and Clifford were blessed with 3 children, Clifford Huntington, Jr, Judith Ann Huntington Millner and Bradford Clark Huntington. Doris lost her beloved husband Clifford on September 24, 1988. She is survived by her 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday. November 7, 2018 at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Service at Woodstock. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity.
