Eddie William Berger

May 9, 2000 — February 3, 2021

Edward William Berger Jr. was born in Burlington NC on May 9th 2000 We were on the way to my Aunt Debbie's funeral in Pennsylvania. We never made it to the funeral. He was almost born in the front seat of our van. I barely got my wife Cathy to a hospital. They put her on the bed and the baby came flying out...the nurse almost dropped him. All the nurses were calling him a Tarheel baby. They even wrote a story about us in the local Burlington newspaper. My son was a boy from day one...always full of energy and laughter, he loved to joke around and smile and was always fun to be around. He was such a funny kid. He was a diehard fan of the Greenbay Packers Football Team, and was always trying to convert people. He would always make his Dad watch the games with him, and then try to explain to him how football worked. He was a college student at Kennesaw State University. He was working to get a degree in Business management. He wanted to own his own business one day. He was an Assistant Manager at Quiktrip, a job he had since he was a High School student at Etowah High School, which he graduated from. He is survived by his Father Edward William Berger Sr., His Mother Catherine Berger who he loved so much, his two sisters Brittany Berger and Emily Berger that he adored more than anything in the world. His nephews Gabriel Paul Drenkhahn, Konner Malik Denham, and his niece Alaia Isabella Bivins. Eddie was in love with his beautiful girlfriend Givanna Rivira. He had many more nephews, nieces cousins, grand parents and so many friends that loved him so much, that there isn't enough room on this page to list them all. He loved and lived life to its fullest, and always did what he wanted to do once he set his mind to it. He came into this world like a bolt of lightning...and he left it even faster.
