Edward "Dutch" Stauder passed away unexpectedly due to heart failure on Friday, January 7, 2017 at his home in Woodstock, GA. Dutch was born January 16, 1940 to William and Dorothy Stauder in Brooklyn, NY. In 1974, he left New York City and moved to Bloomington, New York, a small town just outside of Kingston, to raise his family. After he and his wife, Claudia, followed their daughters to Georgia in 1999, he started a second business, Sandblasting by the Dutchman in Woodstock, GA which he retired from in September 2013. He was a true artist and he loved to thrill people with his unique creations and painting. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Claudia Stauder, who passed away in October 2011 when she lost her battle with cancer. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Hershberger (Todd), Woodstock, GA and Jackie Riley (John), Canton, GA along with his sister Dolores "Dee" Cremer (Karl), Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Emma Hershberger, Danny Hershberger, and Kaitlyn Riley; his 6 nieces and nephews; and his 11 great nieces and nephews.
