Frederick Breedlove Larsen

December 30, 1950 — February 9, 2022

Frederick "Fred" Breedlove Larsen, 71, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on February 9, 2022 surrounded by a family of love in his final days. He was a devoted and loving husband and father survived by his wife, Nancy, of 35 years, daughter Catherine Green (Kyle) and son Chad. Fred has a sister, Stancy Gullung (Bill), brother David, brother-in-laws, Robert Holmgren, John Holmgren (Phyllis), sister-in-law, Laura Kreynus (Tim), many nieces, nephews and cousins. Fred is predeceased by his parents, Connie and Fred.

Fred served on the Cherokee County School Board for 6 years in Post 5 from 1999 to 2005. Fred worked many years for LBG, Inc. in Gainesville, Georgia, as a sales/service representative in the hardware industry. He was a high school literature teacher in his early years of work. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, sailing, lover of Westerns (movies, TV shows, Louis L'Amour novels), reading other great works of literature, avid musician, working on cars and a great tinkerer.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and other health care personnel in all fields in Fred's care with all the help and love of family, friends, and great neighbors fixing all those meals and gift cards. A special shout out to Amedisys Hospice for all their support.

Fred will be forever loved and missed.
