James Thomas Ahrens, 80, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away Thursday November 9, 2023 in Woodstock, GA. Jim is survived by his daughters, Patricia Simmons of Cedar Rapids, IA and Kathleah Jacobs of Woodstock, GA: sons Walyut Phadungsut of Ocala, FL, Anuh (Elizabeth) Lekjarun of Coral Springs, FL, James T. (Viviana) Ahrens, Jr. of Orlando, FL and Joseph (April) Ahrens of Austin, TX and 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 21 at St Matthew’s Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Rd, Lake Worth, FL at 12:30: immediately followed by a burial at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
