Jean Louis Bouquet

In loving memory of Jean Louis Bouquet, a man whose life was a testament kindness, dedication, and humility. Born on July 27, 1972, in Haiti, Jean excelled academically during his high school years at George Mark High School. It was evident from a young age that he possessed sharp intellect and for learning.


Jean's career path led him to teach people how to drive, where he touched countless lives with his patience and gentle guidance. Colleagues and students alike remember him as someone who was not only easy to work with but also a good listener, always willing to lend an ear or offer support.


Beyond his professional life, Jean's true joys lay in his hobbies and interests. He found solace in attending church, listening to music, watching movies, reading comics, and engaging in discussions about politics. His curiosity knew no bounds, and he found beauty in exploring different facets of life.


A devoted family man, Jean's proudest accomplishment was working towards his dream of becoming a truck driver and obtaining his CDL. His determination and perseverance serve as an inspiration to all who knew him.


Jean's warm personality was endearing to many. With his quick wit and ability to put others at ease, he was truly an exceptional father to his daughters, Jennifer and Jessy. His legacy of love and care will live on through them.


Jean is survived by his beloved wife Monique Theodat, his daughters Jennifer and Jessy, as well as a large extended family including his siblings Rose Alerte, Nadia Bellevue, Yanick Bouquet, Valerie Bouquet, Jean Montrevil, Marie Pierre (sister-in-law), Danilo Alerte Sr (brother-in-law), Willeme Bellevue (brother-in-law), and Jani Couthen (sister-in-law).

Jean is proceeded in death by his parents Benita and Louis D Bouquet and brother Dieuseul Bouquet.

The visitation to honor Jean's life will take place on July 19th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Woodstock. A funeral service will be held on July 20th at 10:00 AM at the same location.

A burial serivce will be held following the service at Rolling Hills Cemetery and a reception following at Poole Funeral Home. 

Jean Louis Bouquet will forever be remembered for his wisdom, humor, and loving nature. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
