Jo Ann (Jan) Rawls April 16th 1938 - September 11th 2016 Jo Ann (Smith) Rawls, 78, of Woodstock Georgia passed away on Sunday September 11th 2016 at home following an extended illness. Jan was born April 16th 1938 in Brookhaven Georgia to John and Louise Smith. She graduated from Stone Mountain high school and retired from Casualty Underwriters Insurance where she worked for over 45 years. Jan was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry Smith and nephew Wayne Smith. Jan is survived by her daughter Lanida Soler, daughter Tammy Stout and husband Tony Stout, grandsons Chris and Shane McCrackin, sister and brother in-law Joyce and Bill Abercrombie, brother and sister in-law Larry and Brenda Smith, nephew Greg Abercrombie and Joyce, nieces Mandie Holmes and Brian, Tara Adkisson and Rob, Gloria Smith Hunt, Debi Story and Dale. Jan was an animal lover and she had her precious Crystal for 11 years. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm at North Atlanta Memorial Park 5188 Winters Chapel Road Doraville, Georgia 30360.
