It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jolene Edith Lundy Crouch, who left us on November 27, 2024, at the age of 82. Jolene was born on December 29, 1941, in Watsonville, California, and lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family, friends, and service to God. She resided in Marietta, Georgia.
Jolene was a devoted wife to her husband, Alvin James Crouch, and a mother, sister, and friend to many. She is survived by her son, David Carlton Munyon (Angelica), her sisters, Marti Lundy Moody (Gary) and Sandra Lundy Hansen, and her stepchildren, Reed Robertson Crouch (Livia), Cary James Crouch (Lilia), Tracy Eileen Penninger (Harry), and Sheila Kay Hopkins (John), and her many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jolene’s jovial nature, coupled with her warmth and kindness, touched the lives of everyone who knew her. In later years, she was known for her unwavering dedication as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and faithfully served in the LDS Atlanta Temple, as well as in many other church callings.
Jolene was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Martin Lundy and Sadie Elinor Clute.
She loved traveling on cruises with Al to the Bahamas, Disneyworld, and to visit family and friends in California and Utah. She was passionate about the Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square and sang in many choirs as well as providing music direction. She and Al loved helping others and often offered their home to those in greatest need.
Jolene’s example of love and acceptance of others will continue in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
