Jordan Walker

Jordan Walker left this life unexpectedly on June 4, 2018 in Holly Springs, GA at the age of 19. Jordan is survived by her mother and stepfather, Angela and Martin Davis, brother Austin Walker and sister Meredith Davis of Canton, Father and Stepmother Bobby and Kathrine Walker and family of Dallas, GA, Biological Father and stepmother Scott and Janelle Griffin and family of Newnan; grandmother Cathy (Mammy) Silcox of Canton, maternal aunts and uncles Christy (Kiki) and Robert Black of Canton, Lori and Cary Ancelet of Canton, Calvin and Alesia Silcox of Cartersville, Michael Silcox of Marietta, cousins Jude Silcox of Cartersville, Robby and Ryan Black of Canton, Terri (David) and Thompson Seay of Idaho. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Buddy Silcox. Jordan was born on Monday, November 9, 1998 in Marietta, GA to Angela Davis. She graduated early ahead of her graduation class in 2015 with a GED. Jordan was passionate about becoming a youth counselor some day. As someone who dealt with depression from a relatively young age, she felt that she could use her experiences to educate troubled youth by sharing her troubled past. She loved her family. She was truly loved her siblings more than anything and her brother was her best friend all her life. She enjoyed the simple things like coloring Disney pages or baking brownies with her baby sister. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm with services to be held immediately after at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA. Following the ceremony, Jordan will be cremated and her ashes interred at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at a later date. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jordan's life.
