Judyth Davenport

Mrs. Judyth K. Davenport of Woodstock, GA., passed away May 13, 2019 at Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain after an extended illness.� She was 77. � Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Georgia National Cemetery with Rev. Steve Baskins officiating.� � Mrs. Davenport was born December 21, 1941 in Norfolk, VA to the late Bert Wales and Ruth Isabell Goforth Harris.� Mrs. Davenport lived her life to honor God.� Her decision to serve Christ gave her happiness and peace in her Golden years.� Looking back at her life she realized the blessing of making this decision as a young woman.�� � Before retirement she was a wife, mother, grandmother, a stenographer for private industry, a principle a private Christian school, teacher's aide and a devoted military wife. � Mrs. Davenport was preceded in death in death by her parents, and her brother, Rick Harris. � Survivors include her husband, Joseph Davenport, Woodstock, GA; a daughter, Amy; two sons, David and Steve; also five grandchildren; � Online condolences may be made at www.poolefuneralhome.net
