Kathryn "Jane"� Skelton Graffagnino, 63, of Canton passed away on September 9th, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with COVID-19.First and foremost, Jane was a daughter of God as a believer in Jesus Christ. She came to know His saving grace at an early age. She was born January 27, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia to Otis and Mary Wise. She graduated from Georgia State University and Walden University. She became a passionate ESOL teacher who was dedicated to her students. Most recently, she was enjoying retirement from the Cherokee County Board of Education, where she was impactful in many lives and made many lifelong friends.Jane married the late Brian Clark Skelton in 1979 and they had two children. Brian passed away and was called home in 2009, after almost 30 wonderful years of marriage. The Lord richly blessed her when she married Thomas "Tom"� Dodge Graffagnino from Columbus/Harris County, Georgia in 2011. Together they shared incredible love after loss. They loved to travel, enjoyed watching grandchildren grow, deepened their faith in the Lord and relished in His faithfulness through their love for one another.She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, "�Granna', and friend who loved deeply and shined brightly for Jesus. She cared for her family and friends by intentional investment and compassion. Jane' love of reading was gifted to her grandchildren through countless books. She enjoyed traveling, spending time gardening, crocheting, doing puzzles, talking, singing, digging into the Bible and investing in people. She loved her church and Bible studies.She is survived by her parents Otis and Mary Wise; her husband, Tom Graffagnino; daughter Katie Henley & her husband Jeff; son Brent Skelton & his wife Laura; step-son Patrick Graffagnino & his wife Brittany; step-daughter Maria Tate & her husband Davis; grandchildren Kamryn, Mallory, Benjamin, Gail, Tessa, Kate, Emily, & Charlie; her sister Carol Hobbs & her husband Nick. Jane leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she adored. She had a gentle spirit, great sense of humor, loving nature, and the most beautiful smile.The family is grateful for so many who love Jane, were loved by her, and cherished her friendship. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date, in order to ensure a safe gathering. ...here in You I find sheltercaptivated by the splendor...
