Kenneth Summerville peacefully passed away surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Kenneth was a thirty five year member of The First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Kenneth was a Vietnam Veteran that served our country in the United States Air Force. He was the owner of Export Specialties, a business that services and provides automotive and marine parts to the the Islands of Bermuda and Grand Cayman. In his earlier career years he worked for numerous Automotive dealerships as an Automotive Parts Manager and wholesale manager. Later in his career he worked for General Motors as a Southern Regional Manager within their parts division. During that time, Kenneth achieved multiple awards with those businesses which led him to become the top sales person in the United States with one of his previous employers with General Motors. Kenneth finished his automotive career running his export business while also working with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram of Woodstock, a position he truly enjoyed and loved.
Kenneth’s hobbies were hot rods, car shows and he loved restoring several older Chevrolet vehicles including his current project a 1965 Chevrolet C10 pickup. Kenneth and his car were also once featured in an article written in Super Chevy Magazine about his 1970 big block Chevrolet Nova SS. The article was called “One Fast Ride”.
Ken is survived by his wife of forty two years Camilla Summerville, their son Garrett Summerville and future fiancé Kim Saunders. Kenneth leaves behind two sisters and one brother. Two sister in laws and two brother in laws with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Betty and Kenneth Summerville Sr.
He loved his country, family and hobbies and will truly be missed.
