Laszlo Szedo

Mr. Laszlo Szedo age 85 of Holly Springs departed this life Wednesday May 10, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Szedo was born in Poloske Hungary and Migrated to the United States, Mr. Szedo was married to the love of his life Ibolya for 55 years and together they settled in New Brunswick, NJ and raised their family. Mr. Szedo proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 101^st Airborne Division “Screaming Eagles”. Laszlo was honored to serve as Fire Captain in the New Brunswick Fire Department where he served for 30 years. Mr. Szedo was actively involved with Hungarian American Athletic Club of New Brunswick. Mr. Szedo is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margo Repescky. Survivors include his loving wife of over 55 years Ibolya, children; Ildiko Miskell (Darren) and Erika Szedo-Leonhardt (Christopher). Grandchildren, Tea and Blake Janeczek, Johnpaul Miskell, Cassidy and Colton Leonhardt. Services to honor the life of Mr. Laszlo Szedo will be Thursday May 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with military rights performed by the United States Army.
