LaVerne A. Schneider

Ann Schneider, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Canton, Georgia following an extended illness.  She was 83.

A celebration of life service will be held for Ann on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Ratliff officiating.  A visitation will be held for the family from 1:00 pm until service time on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Poole Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to WellStar Hospice, 475 Dickson Avenue NW, Marietta, GA 30064.

Ann was born April 30, 1938, in Elgin, IL.  She graduated from Elgin High School in 1955.  She later graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Madison, WI as a Registered Nurse.  Ann  also retired from the VA Hospital in Atlanta in 1995, then went to work at WellStar Hospice that same year.  She retired a 2^nd time from WellStar in 2019 at the age of 81.  Ann was active at Towne Lake Community Church and was always ready to serve where she was needed, including a medical clinic mission trip to Haiti.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents James T. and Minnie Lue Love; one brother, James H. Love and a sister, Judith Haugaard.

Survived by children Cindy Bryant (Kevin) and Tammy Schneider; granddaughter Samantha Bryant; sister-in-law Cherryll Love and her children: Amy (Scott) Colley, Jennifer (Jason) Hightower & Bobby Love; and Judith's children, Heidi (Takao) Tsukada and Tim (Deanne) Haugaard.
