Linda Diane Winkles

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Linda Diane Myers Winkles. Our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched joined our Lord in heaven on January 27, 2022.  Linda lived a full life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Predeceased by her husband, Roy Jack Winkles Sr., she was the beloved mother of Allen and Sheri, mother-in-law to Delores and JJ, proud grandmother to Dustin, Kathy, Michael, Dylan, Jerrid, and Landon, and great-grandmother to Isabella, Emmaline, Samuel, Addison, Ellianna, and Ryan.

She graduated from Cross Keys High School in 1965 where she enjoyed twirling her baton as a majorette, working on the yearbook staff, and singing with the Choral Club. She went on to have a career, was a working mom, instilled strong values in her children, and had a faithful relationship with God.

Skilled with a crochet hook those who were gifted a blanket made by her will have a forever treasure. She loved her Zoey, enjoyed movies, puzzles, and most recently diamond painting, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
