Martha Harding

Martha (Marti) Harding (age 79) passed away on April 15, 2023. She was born on June 6, 1943, in Dallas, Texas to Manuel and Angelita (Angie) Hernandez. Marti graduated from Bryan Adams High school in Dallas Texas and attended University of North Texas. Marti then went to work for Delta Air Lines.   

Marti was a flight attendant for her entire professional career. She flew international for 38 years of her 44 years of service to Delta Air Lines. Marti still has many friends she was in touch with even in her final days. Marti served as a board member in her community for 12 years and as a liaison to the social committee where she loved planning events and gatherings for her neighborhood community. She was an avid reader with quite a large collection of books and yes even on her kindle. She loved a good crossword puzzle and she loved to cook and share her recipes. She had a great sense of direction anywhere you might be going, and she could give you excellent directions. She loved to travel and loved spending time with family and friends. She loved the family farm in Alabama and would always say “As I drive in the gate, I feel my blood pressure lower.”  Marti was quite the social butterfly and will always be remembered for her sophistication and elegance. Marti will be remembered as timeless, classy, and elegant.

She is survived by her sister, Carmen Gorman, her four nephews and nieces Greg (Charlie) Gorman. Michael (Stacy) Gorman their children Grayson, Grace, and Gus Gorman. Michele (Beck) Gorman their children Charlie and Leo Gorman. Mark Gorman and his children Carmen and Lola Gorman.
