Matthias Beil

Matthias “Matt” Beil, beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished brother, passed away on July 1, 2024, at Northside Cherokee Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by family and friends. He was born on August 11, 1981, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania although he lived in Boardman, Ohio throughout his childhood. He was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High school in 2000 and received a BS from Youngstown State University. Matt resided in Holly Springs, Georgia where he was a member of First Baptist Woodstock Church. Matt was employed as an inside sales manager for Professional Sales Agents, Inc.

Matthias will be remembered for the love he shared with his wife Jennifer Rae Beil (nee Potts), the joy he found in being a father to their daughter Evelyn Rae Beil, and his large extended family. Among his proudest accomplishments was marrying the love of his life and embracing the role of loving Daddy to Evelyn. Matt had a passion for golf and college sports.

Matthias was proceeded in death by his parents Matthias and Audrey Beil, his grandparents Albert and Audrey Simpkins, Leo and Jean Beil. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, daughter Evelyn; his sister Monica Critell; and brother-in-law Matthew Critell. Matthias also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will deeply miss him.

The celebration of Matthias's life will take place on July 10, 2024, at First Baptist Church Woodstock in Woodstock, Georgia. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM. If anyone would like to make charitable donations in Matt’s honor, he was passionate about caring for the adoption and fostering of children and donations can be made in his name to First Baptist Church of Woodstock’s WeFoster program at https://www.fbcw.org/wefoster.

Matthias Beil's warm presence, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family will be forever treasured. May he rest in peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
