Maybelle Smith

Mrs. Maybelle Chumley Smith, age 81, of Acworth, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Smith was born on June 30, 1942 in Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Otis and Sarah Jane Chumley. She spent a lifetime caring for her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Eugene Smith; her 4 great grandchildren; and all 9 of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Logan (Kenneth) and Louise Cox (Timothy); her grandchildren, Brenda Tuveson, Sandra Lang, Jennifer LeMay, Matthew Logan, Chase Logan, and Emily Logan; her great grandchildren, Raven Merrick, Natalie Williamson, Peyton Logan, Iralyn Logan, Quinn Logan and Gabriel Daniel.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Nathan Chance officiating.
