Mrs Brenda Joyce (Chambers) Brown

July 21, 1950 — September 27, 2021

Mrs. Brenda Joyce Chambers Brown Passes September 27, 2021

On September 27, 2021, our cherished Brenda went home on Angels wings to begin eternal life with her Lord and Savior. Brenda was born on July 21, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Leon Eugene Chambers, Sr. and the late Jacqueline Hornesby Chambers of Marietta, Ga. She grew up and spent most of her life in Marietta where she met and married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Donald Franklin Brown. When asked, shortly before her death, what she was most proud of in her life, her answer came as no surprise, "my children" she softly whispered. She devoted her entire life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and family. Her deep and abiding love for her family and friends is her true legacy. She never missed a chance to make those she cared for feel special and truly loved. Heavily involved in her children's lives, her undying support was evident through activities including Girls Scouts, baseball, and school events. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and made lifelong friends in their joint desire and efforts to contribute to their community and those in need. She was strong in spirit and in her Christian faith and was the "rock" for her entire family. The space she left in the hearts of all who knew her, will never be filled.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Franklin Brown of Dallas, GA, her daughter Krishna Nicole Becker (John) of Woodstock, GA., her son Kristan Michael Brown of Dalton, GA., her granddaughter, Brelyn Michaela White of Dallas, Ga, her grandson Grayson Alexander White of Acworth, GA, step-granddaughters Samantha Lynd Eddy (Jonas) of Woodstock GA and Sydney Grace Becker of Canton GA, her sisters, Cheri Diane Jowett (Andrew) of Lilburn GA, Stephanie Elise Chambers (Pamela) of Kennesaw GA and brother Leon Eugene Chambers, Jr. (Paula), beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Jacqueline Hornesby Chambers, mother-in-law, Laura Mae Eubanks Brown, father-in-law Sherley Eugene Brown and precious nephew Zackary Winfield Stringer.

Visitation will be held 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, at Poole Funeral Home.
