Nell Ray Foreman Smith-Dailey, 82, died peacefully on July 27, 2022, in Woodstock, Georgia. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on April 1, 1940 to Raymond Bell and Lucille Ray Foreman. She attended the University of Texas, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was also a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution.
Nell Ray was someone who lived life to the fullest. While working full-time, she traveled to many countries all over the world. She was an awesome mom to two sons. Following her love for cooking, she owned two restaurants, a catering company, a partner in an Ace Hardware store with her husband and was also an antique dealer.
She is survived and deeply missed by her loving husband, John Dailey of Woodstock, Georgia, sons, Stephen Smith (Jami Edaburn), Stuart Smith, granddaughters, Lauren Smith and Lindsey Smith, sister, Judy Scardino (Johnny), stepchildren, Michael Dailey (Lori), Laurie Thon, Gregory Dailey and step-granddaughters Kateri Thon, Sienna Dailey, and Megan Dailey.
