Norma Stalcup

Norma Kathleen Stalcup age 69 of Woodstock, GA passed surrounded by family on June 5th 2017. Norma K. Palmer was born in Atlanta, Ga in 47' and grew up in Smyrna, GA. She was a graduate of Osborne High School class of 66'. Was wed to Fred Stalcup in 67'. Had three boys, born 68', 71' and 76'. Move to Woodstock, GA in 74' to raise her family and retired from a career at Southern Company in 07'. She was a active member of the Woodstock First Baptist Church for 43 years. Survived by husband Fred Stalcup and sons Ken, Brian and Joshua; Siblings Danny Palmer and Deborah Bradshaw. Norma was a giving and guiding soul who touched many. She was a sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. She was the Bedrock of our family. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, patience, compassion and love, with her sense of adventure knew no bounds. Exploring life's simple pleasures with children and helping the unable were her greatest joys. She greeted everyone with a smile and a hug and let them know she truly cared. She lived her life in the name of the Lord and lighted the path for us to follow. She leaves us with a legacy of unwavering love and friendship as we cherish her in our memories. The sound of her laughter will forever be in our hearts.
