“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patrick Comeaux on August 29th, 2023. Pat passed away peacefully at the age of 79, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family and close friends. He leaves behind a legacy that epitomized the values of family bonds and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit. Known for his love of family, his gusto for golf, his entrepreneurial and philanthropic efforts, as well as a deep commitment to his friends and community, Patrick was a cherished figure in the hearts of many.

Hailing from New Iberia, Louisiana, Patrick transplanted his roots to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and then Woodstock, Georgia, where he blossomed into a cornerstone of his community. To his children, Patrick Kelly Comeaux Jr., Kami Comeaux, Kimberly Comeaux, Kerrie Comeaux Richards, and Perry Richards, he was not just a father but a loving and devoted one. His role as a grandfather to Brooke Richards, Drew Berry, Morgan Richards, and Patrick Kelly Comeaux III brought him immense joy. Reunited in the afterlife with his beloved wife, Linda Lee Comeaux, their eternal bond continues to comfort those who held them dear.

Patrick's indomitable presence reverberated throughout Woodstock, as he tirelessly built businesses and lent his unwavering support to numerous philanthropic causes. His entrepreneurial pursuits were intrinsically tied to his deep-rooted commitment to the well-being of his community, endearing him as a beloved and respected figure.

A memorial service to honor Patrick's remarkable life will be conducted at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia.

Funeral is on October 28, 2023. The visitation period will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from noon to 1:00 PM. A celebration of his life will continue at the Tavern at Towne Lake immediately after the memorial.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patrick's name to your preferred charitable organization or to those that held a special place in his heart, such as Cherokee by Choice or the Rotary Foundation.

Patrick Comeaux will forever be cherished for his steadfast dedication to his family, his friends, his community, his zest for life, and the countless lives he touched. His enduring legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will serve as an enduring source of inspiration for all fortunate enough to have crossed his path.”
