Robert Brewer

Robert (Bob) Brewer passed away April 27, 2017, surrounded by love and laughter in Marietta, GA. He is survived by his wife Connie, daughter Ashley and her wife Brennan, daughter Janet and granddaughter Savannah. He is preceded in death by brothers Billy, Dave, and Wally. He is survived by brothers Tom and Webb and sister Gail. Bob grew up in Jacksonville, FL. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving as an Army Ranger. He was a sprinter and qualified for the 1972 Olympics. He moved to Atlanta in 1974, met Connie in January 1975, and never left again. Anyone who knew Bob knew how much he loved to joke around, and his silly sarcastic sense of humor will be greatly missed. A memorial service is planned for April 30, 2017, at 5pm at Poole Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Woodstock, GA. Preceding the memorial service, the family will receive family and friends from 2pm - 5pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Georgia National Cemetery on May 1, 2017, at 9:30am.
