March 2, 1962 — December 6, 2019

Mr. Robert James Privitera, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at Kennestone Hospital following complications from an automobile accident. He was 57. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Prayer & Praise Church located at 6409 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA 30189 with Rev. Larry Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery located at 4355 Highway 92, Acworth, GA 30102. Reception to follow. Flowers and/or donations are welcomed. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the following organizations in Rob's name. "Prayer and Praise Church" https://www.prayerandpraise.org/ "Hospitality House of Charlotte" https://www.hospitalityhouseofcharlotte.org/donate/ Rob was born March 2, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to Elaine Privitera and the late Anthony Privitera. In January 2019, Rob was rear ended by a drunk driver in Charlotte, North Carolina and was paralyzed from the neck down. In June 2019 Rob was moved from Charlotte, North Carolina to Woodstock Nursing & Rehab, Woodstock, Georgia. Recently, Rob developed more complications from the collision which caused his untimely death. Robert was a devout disciple of Jesus and is free from the bondage of his body now. Rob loved to help others and even during his paralytic state would speak to people about Jesus. Prior to the accident, Rob liked cooking for his family, playing guitar, drawing, and being outdoors. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Anthony Privitera in 2008. Survivors include his wife, Lilya and their three daughters Lindsey, Tiffany, and Julia, and one son, Benjamin; his mother, Elaine; two brothers, Don and David; and one grandson, Shawn.Funeral Service DEC 18. 10:00 AM (EST) Prayer & Praise Christian Fellowship6409 Bells Ferry RoadWoodstock, GA 30189
