Robert Lawyer

Mr. Robert "Rob" Leroy Lawyer, 55, of Canton departed this life Monday April 4th with his family by his side. Rob was born in Joliet, IL and moved to Georgia in the 8th grade. If you knew Rob, you knew that he loved the Georgia Bulldogs. He met the love of his life, Kim, at UGA, and in January they celebrated the unthinkable, a Georgia football National Championship. His sons Kyle and Ryan completed their wonderful family. Again, if you knew Rob, you knew he loved his family. The Lawyer boys loved life and adventures. Rob enjoyed making everyone laugh and being the life of the party; there was never a dull moment with Rob. Other than spending time with his family, Rob enjoyed fishing trips to Canada, a little fun in the casino and with the neighborhood poker league, and he and Kim loved spending time with friends that became family. A new star lights the night sky, and it will shine forever.

Rob is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Barbara Duncan Lawyer.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years Kimberly Brown Lawyer and their sons Ryan Lawyer and Kyle Lawyer. His siblings, Lawrence Lawyer (Carol) of Manheim, PA, Lani Lawyer Schutter (Tim) of Jasper, GA., and Linda Lawyer Campbell (Mike) of Lenox, IL. Nieces and nephews, Brad Lawyer, Jenna Louderback, Matt Dietrich, Joey Dietrich, Rob Lawyer, Meggan Sledge, Joshua Campbell, Courtney Schutter, Matthew Schutter and Christopher Schutter

A celebration of Rob's life will be held Monday April 11, 2022, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock. The service will be live-streamed, and a link will be available an hour prior to the service. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the service hour.
