Susan Marie Podsedly

Mrs. Susan Marie Podsedly departed this life Tuesday January 7, 2023, at the age of 76. Mrs. Podsedly was born in Rochester, NY to her late parents, Clement and Lillian Hanna Gallagher. Susan loved to travel, play golf (she even got a hole in one), and was on a Para-Olympic rowing team. She was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Above all, Susan loved being a nurse, and caring for others. She was very proud of all her grandchildren, and enjoyed cheering them on at all their various sporting events.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Michael Podsedly and Christa Podsedly (Scott) Rechsteiner, sister Patricia Hogan-Hopkins (Richard), brother Phillip Gallagher (Mary), brother-in-law Joseph Podsedly (Nancy), and grandchildren: Brock and Brandon Rechsteiner, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor the life of Susan Marie Podsedly is being planned in Rochester, NY in the spring, after which she will be laid to rest.
