Trisha Lynn Bass

July 10, 1970 — October 13, 2021

Trisha Lynn Bass, originally of Issaquah, WA, and currently of Woodstock, GA died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 after an unsuccessful battle with COVID. She was 51 years old.

Trisha was born on July 10, 1970 in Washington state, and lived there for the first 45 years of her life where she graduated from Issaquah High School in 1989. She attended Florida College in Tampa, FL 1990-91. In high school, Trisha was a four-year member of the marching band, playing the clarinet.

Trisha worked in daycare for about 17 years, beginning in high school. She loved taking care of children, from babies to elementary school. In 2008, she earned a medical assistant certification. In 2009 she began her 12-year career in children’s clothing retail at Carters Retail, Inc. She enjoyed helping and serving others. She loved her job.

Trisha loved the game of basketball since her childhood, and had a keen understanding of the game. She supported high school and college basketball games, boys and girls, in Issaquah and surrounding areas. She attended many University of Washington women’s basketball games, getting to know players and their parents; Trisha never met a stranger.

Trisha is remembered as a faithful Christian who demonstrated that faith in the way she loved others. She loved freely and fiercely. She was known for her big hugs and her sweet spirit. Even if you hadn’t seen her in years, she was quick to leave a thoughtful comment on a Facebook post, and give you a big hug when you’d see her. Trisha loved everyone she knew, and she made sure you felt that love. She enjoyed children and the elderly and let them know how important they were to her.

Trisha loved God and her church families in Issaquah and Burien, WA and Powers Ferry Road Church of Christ in GA.

She is survived by her parents, Dan and Barbara Bass of Woodstock, GA, and her brother Trent Bass (Shannon) of Woodstock, GA. Along with her nephew Addison Bass (Allyson) of Canton, GA, nephew Garrett Bass, and niece Sheridan Bass of Woodstock, GA, and a grand niece and nephew, Hazel and Truett Bass.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Poole Funeral Home, 1970 Eagle Drive, Woodstock, GA 30189. The family will hold visitation for one hour, 3pm to 4pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.
