William Timothy Cantrell

William “Tim” Cantrell from Ellijay, Ga gained his wings on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Tim was born November 26, 1957 in Atlanta, Ga. His family has fond memories of times spent doing things he loved such as, fishing, hunting, and being with family and friends. He was a hard working family man with a big heart, who always put everyone else before himself. More recently he loved doing tractor work on his Kubota in our community here at Coosawattee River Resort. But most of all he loved spending time with his daughter’s and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Angela Hughes Cantrell. Also surviving are daughters Amber Cantrell, Amanda Cantrell McGhinnis and husband Chad, grandchildren Hayden, Chase, and Natalie. Brother Roy Cantrell, sister Charm Jones, Nephew David Jones and family. Many other nieces and nephews and cousins, Ryan Cantrell and family, Olivia Cantrell Newell and family, Summer and family, Madison, Dylan and Jeremiah. Deceased are Mother and father Clarence and Helen Cantrell, Brother Dennis Cantrell, and Nephew McCoie Jones among others. A celebration of Life gathering will be announced at a later date.
